Comprised of five separate islands joined by beautiful Venetian bridges, Duck Key’s 300 acres have approximately 6 miles of water frontage, including 1 1/2 miles of ocean frontage, 1 1/8 miles of harbor frontage, and the remainder along deep waterways navigable to the sea. The rare, crystal-clear canals are free flowing and home to many dolphins and manatees. A natural and low breakwater wall protects the entire oceanfront of Duck Key and forms a 85-foot lagoon leading to the yacht harbor and main channel. Residents on the island walk and ride their bicycles to the restaurants and water sport rentals. Golf carts are another popular way to get around the island.

There are two marinas at Duck Key--Hawks Cay Marina and Duck Key Marina. Hawks Cay Marina is where you’ll find large charter fishing boats, water sports, a provisions store, fuel and a restaurant overlooking the marina. Duck Key Marina offers indoor and outdoor dry storage, day slips, fuel, and boat rentals.
